Prelicensed Professional Counselor

“I believe that those of us who’ve experienced a broken heart, mind, or spirit are capable of living joyful, fulfilling lives. You deserve a life that is meaningful and wholesome, sometimes we just need help realizing that.”

  • I support teens and young adults ages 11-40 who want to feel empowered, inspired, and equipped to thrive, not survive, in their wellness journey. I offer a safe, affirming environment for my clients regardless of their socioeconomic background, cultural stigmas about mental health, or negative experiences with therapy. Whether you are …

    • burdened by anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem,

    • or struggling to navigate life transitions, grief, or parenting

… I am here to help. You don’t have to journey through life alone. Peace, wholeness, and self-love are possible with the support of someone who cares.

  • I specialize in trauma-informed anxiety care for youth, women, and families from marginalized communities, offering compassion, creativity, and evidence-based tools to help clients feel grounded, whole, and empowered. I understand the complex impact of trauma and use a strengths-based approach to help clients gain a sense of safety, trustworthiness, and autonomy. I have experience working with developmental disorders like autism, oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and ADHD, and can offer insight to parents who may be feeling overwhelmed or lost.

  • I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Alabama State University in 2020 and went on to earn a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from The University of Memphis in 2025. I specialized in child development and pediatric trauma in my studies and became familiar with evidence-based therapies including TF-CBT, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

While earning my master’s degree, I spent nearly two years at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital working with children in the trauma department and their families. I gained experience with acute trauma, crisis intervention, grief and loss, and anxiety interventions like Polyvagal theory and exposure response therapy. I was able to use my lived experience to help my clients and their families navigate what may have been the worst days of their lives. I would be honored to do the same for you.
