Frequently asked questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

  • Currently, all services are completely virtual. Our counselors are licensed and able to work with clients located in GA and TN. If you live outside of these states and are interested in private pay coaching services please indicate this in the contact form. Someone from our office will follow-up with you within 1-2 business days.

  • Online therapy is a secure and convenient way to meet from the comfort of your own space. We use HIPAA-compliant platforms through SimplePractice, Spruce Health, and Two Fold Health. All clients have access to a private client portal for scheduling, messaging, and completing all documentation. You can join sessions from a computer, table, or phone. *When using the phone you will have to download the free Telehealth by SimplePractice app.

  • Hybrid sessions are available on a limited basis for clients located in Memphis, TN. If you’re interested in meeting in person, please let our team know so we can discuss availability and determine if an in-person appointment can be accommodated.

  • We accept most major insurances. Because coverage can vary by individual plan, our team will review your benefits and let you know about any out-of-pocket costs before your first session—so there are no surprises.

Please note: We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid under any circumstances. Clients with these plans are welcome to access services at the private pay rate.

Our standard rate for private pay sessions is $150 per hour.

  • After booking your first appointment, you will receive an intake packet through the client portal to complete before your session. During the first appointment, we will review all intake paperwork and assessment results, complete a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment, and begin identifying your therapy goals together.

  • “How long will therapy take?” is a common and understandable question. Here, success isn’t measured by the number of sessions or time spent, but by your progress in challenging anxious thoughts and achieving the goals we set together. Therapy is personalized to your needs, so the length varies based on your unique journey toward peace and wellness.

  • Under the law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including mental health care.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
